Downtown students live in the high-rise and condo communities of St. James Town, Church-Wellesley, the Garden District, Cabbagetown, Regent Park and Moss Park, and in the towers along Wellesley, Sherbourne, Jarvis and Carlton. Our lessons are taught in real downtown traffic — one-way streets, bike lanes, streetcars and busy pedestrian crossings — so new drivers build genuine confidence where they actually live.

For BDE students, pick-up and drop-off is available near Sherbourne & Wellesley, or within 2 km of your home, school or work, depending on road conditions. The theory portion is fully online and self-paced, available 365/24/7, so you can study whenever it fits your schedule.

Working Women and Men

In-car lessons are booked around your work schedule, and the online theory can be completed in the evenings and on weekends — no need to take time off to finish your course.

University and College Students

Students at Toronto Metropolitan University, the University of Toronto St. George campus and George Brown College downtown campuses complete the 30 hours of online theory between classes, then book in-car lessons near campus or home.

High School Students

We welcome high school students from across downtown, including Jarvis Collegiate Institute at 495 Jarvis St at Wellesley, just steps from our location.

Newcomers and Seniors

Newcomer and immigrant driver training and senior refresher training are standing services at our school — always one-on-one, at your pace, with a patient instructor.

MTO-Approved Online BDE Course

Our Beginner Driver Education course includes 30 hours of online theory, 10 hours of one-on-one in-car lessons and a mock test, plus MTO certification and your Driver’s Licence History (DLH). With BDE on your DLH, you can take your G2 road test 4 months earlier — 8 months after getting your G1 instead of 12 — and you may be eligible for an insurance discount.

Choose the package that fits you:

Bronze — $599 +HST: 30 hours online + 10 hours in-car + mock test. The instructor car is NOT included for the road test.
Silver — $849 +HST: 11 hours in-car, with the instructor car included for the road test (Metro East).
Gold — $999 +HST: 15 hours in-car, with the instructor car included for the road test (Metro East).
